Alignment of Centre Programs with Strategic Missions
P4S’s four Programs are the home to the research capabilities and activities of the Centre. Our researchers conduct projects within the Programs, which result in academic outputs such as journal articles and licensable IP. The creation of new knowledge through discovery science is necessarily fundamental and represents an important activity within our Programs.
The translation of new knowledge into real world impact is the focus of the Missions. Our four Missions represent the intended impact areas and long-term outcome goals for our research. Outputs from the Missions are composed of selected projects from across the Programs, aligned so they form an interdisciplinary delivery pathway that result in an outcome such as a product, service or policy/education impact.
Progress against the Programs demonstrates delivery of the Centre's research goals. Progress against the Missions demonstrates impact.
