Space Bones

This lesson helps students explore the effects of microgravity on the structural integrity of human bones in space using eggshells and links to the health and nutrition needs of humans on Earth.

o AC9S5UO1(examine how particular structural features and behaviours of living things 

enable their survival in specific habitats)  

o AC956U01 (investigate the physical conditions of a habitat and analyse how the 

growth and survival of living things is affected by changing physical conditions).
