Plants for Space is inviting Years 5 to 8 teachers to free teacher professional learning events in Melbourne where you will: 

  • Hear from researchers in space farming and food science.
  • Apply innovative Australian Plants for Space science and ideas to enrich classroom learning materials.
  • Explore Plants for Space teaching and learning resources.
  • Develop materials relevant to your science classroom.

Topics will include effects of microgravity on plant development, ecosystems, cell structure and function, food production, sustainability and science as a human endeavour as applied to the space context.
